Can I change my reservation after booking?
Yes, modifications are accepted up to 24 hours before pickup, subject to vehicle availability. Contact our team as early as possible to make changes without any issues.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a partial charge depending on the vehicle category.
Are last-minute or same-day bookings available?
Yes, same-day bookings are available subject to fleet availability. Contact our team directly via WhatsApp for the fastest confirmation and assistance.
Driver Eligibility, Documents, and Insurance
What documents are required at pickup?
Bring a valid driver’s license, a government-issued ID or passport, and the credit or debit card used for the booking and security deposit. Tourists must also provide a copy of their entry visa.
What is the minimum age to rent?
Drivers must be at least 21 years old. Drivers between 21 and 24 years of age may be subject to a young driver surcharge depending on the vehicle category selected.
Does Zafir include insurance?
Yes, all vehicles include comprehensive third-party liability insurance as required by Omani law. Optional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is also available for enhanced protection against vehicle damage.
Can I add additional drivers?
Yes, additional drivers can be added at a small daily fee. All drivers must be present at pickup, hold a valid license, and meet the minimum age requirement.
Pickup, Return, and On-Road Support
How do I pick up my vehicle?
Choose counter pickup from our Muscat office or request delivery to your hotel or address. Our team will complete a full walk-through inspection with you before you drive off.
Do you offer airport pickup in Muscat?
Yes, we offer convenient pickup and drop-off at Muscat International Airport. Please provide your flight number and arrival time when booking for seamless coordination.
What if I am late returning the car?
Please contact our team as soon as possible. Late returns are subject to additional hourly or daily charges. Extensions can often be arranged subject to vehicle availability.
How do I reach support while on the road?
A refundable security hold may be placed depending on vehicle type and rental duration. The hold is released within 1 to 3 business days after inspection and vehicle return.
Charges, Deposits, and Damage Claims
Will I be charged a deposit or hold on my card?

What happens if the vehicle is damaged?
Any damage not covered by insurance is assessed during the return inspection. A full damage report is provided and charges are transparently applied from the security deposit.
Are there mileage limits or fuel rules?
Most rentals include a generous daily mileage allowance. Vehicles are provided with a full tank and should be returned full. Charges apply for excess mileage or fuel shortfalls.
How are extra charges billed after return?
Any additional charges beyond the deposit are invoiced clearly after vehicle inspection. Our team will walk you through every charge and provide a full breakdown before any payment is taken.
